Who are we?

"The friends of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences" is a non-profit organisation supporting the activities of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS). This association contributes to a greater fame and influence of the RBINS, its collections, its research and its permanent and temporary exhibitions.

What do we offer?

Members benefit from many advantages:

• they can attend activities organised by the RBINS, such as exhibition inauguration, conferences, films...;
• they are privileged discussion partners of the Museum, through the secretariat;
• they are informed of the activities organised by the RBINS;
• they pay reduced entrance fees to major temporary exhibitions;
• they receive a 10 percent discount in the museum shop.

How much does it cost?

Membership fees are:

• effective member: 18 euro
• member of an effective member's family: 9 euro
• junior member (-18): 7 euro
• staff of the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office: 9 euro
